PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roman Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerzy Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kersikov's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roman Kersikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerzy Killer!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Killer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kersikov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kersikov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

And Killer responds with a good body kick, but Kersikov manages to step out the way in time.

Killer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Jerzy Killer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kersikov.

Killer darts in and clinches Kersikov up against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

I would just about give that final round to Jerzy Killer.
I've got Killer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
