Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Moka Moka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaarlo Sonni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonni misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Moka.
Sonni throws a poor cross that misses
and Moka counters with an inside leg kick.
Moka is looking to score with low kicks.
Sonni throws a lazy uppercut

and Moka counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Sonni utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Moka takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moka is nestled in close to Sonni, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sonni has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Hut - $50. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Sonni really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moka is taking a breather. Sonni says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Moka has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sonni is in trouble now - Moka has advanced to mount!
Moka lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Sonni hang on?

Moka lands a big shot there that rocks Sonni but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Moka lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Sonni is still in real trouble! Can Moka finish him?

Moka lands a big elbow.
Moka tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Moka postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Sonni in real trouble here! The ref calls for Sonni to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Moka Moka!
After the fight, Moka Moka was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
