Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bentong Baliskad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Horn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bentong Baliskad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nick Horn!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baliskad fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Horn gets the takedown into side control.

Horn is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Baliskad is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Baliskad pushes Horn away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Horn gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Horn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Horn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Baliskad is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Horn asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Horn tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Horn wants to control but Baliskad is keeping him busy.

Horn thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Horn looks gassed!

Baliskad is pushing Horn's head away, looking to escape. Horn manages to hold on to the position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Horn is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Baliskad knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Baliskad is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Horn is controlling him well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Baliskad knocks Horn to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?


Horn is rocked!
Baliskad wants to stand but Horn is controlling his arm.
Horn is still in real trouble! Can Baliskad finish him?
Horn seems to have recovered his senses.
Horn gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Horn is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Baliskad pulls his head out easily.
Horn regains full guard. Nicely done.

Horn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baliskad doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baliskad manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Baliskad wants to stand but Horn has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Baliskad has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Horn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Baliskad wanted to stand there but Horn had control of the position.

Baliskad has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Horn to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Baliskad is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Horn pulls down on the head and he's put Baliskad to sleep! This one is all over!
