The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Hernandez or perhaps it was just good defense by Nunes, which made it look bad.
Nunes looks to land a left hand but Hernandez moved out of range nicely.
Hernandez staying out of range there.
Hernandez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nunes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hernandez.

Hernandez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nunes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Hernandez has gone for a leg lock! Nunes slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hernandez's guard.

Hernandez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nunes defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nunes slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Nunes's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Hernandez is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Nunes rolls with it to try and escape but Hernandez cranks on the arm and Nunes is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
