Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Renaldo Mclean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Belfort!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort tries to clinch up

and Mclean counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mclean.
Mclean in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Belfort has a closed guard, preventing Mclean from standing up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mclean cracks Belfort with a solid left hand.

Mclean postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mclean takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Mclean throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Belfort was covering up waiting for the punch and Mclean finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Belfort is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Mclean presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Belfort perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Mclean is looking for a sweep. Belfort is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Belfort seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mclean does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mclean is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Belfort jumps into side control!

Belfort goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mclean rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Belfort's guard! Nice work there by Mclean!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Belfort wants to sweep here but Mclean controlling him for the moment.

Mclean throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Belfort tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mclean is in Belfort's guard.

Belfort wants to control the position but Mclean says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Belfort manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mclean on his heels. He'll look to pass Mclean's guard now, I'm sure.

Mclean is looking for a triangle but Belfort pushes his legs off easily.

Mclean escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Belfort gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Belfort looking to sit in guard and control but Mclean gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mclean is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Belfort can do to turn this around?

Belfort pushes Mclean off and scrambles back to his feet.
Mclean pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Mclean tries for a takedown but Belfort sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Belfort tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mclean swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mclean throws a big counter combination but Belfort scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Andrew Belfort is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Belfort closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Mclean manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Belfort enables Mclean to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Belfort manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
