Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodeo Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dana White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Im The Boss kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rodeo Joe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dana White's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodeo Joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dana White!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White closes the distance but Joe moves to the side

and Joe counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Joe seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Joe passes easily into side control. Nice work.
White is trying to control Joe's posture but Joe avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Joe tries for a kimura but White is defending well.
Joe tries to move to full mount but White actually manages to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Joe is thwarting White's attempts to control the position.
White wants to get back to full guard.

Joe is looking for a kimura but White is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Joe to get the leverage.
Joe missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Joe seems to be working for a kimura but White defends the submission attempt.

Joe looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Joe wants to work for an arm triangle but White is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Joe throws a strike but White avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Joe thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Joe passes easily into side control. Nice work.
White is trying to get back to half guard.
Joe wants to take a breather but White manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Joe.

White looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Joe trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Joe has gone for a leg lock! White slips out almost immediately though and dives into Joe's guard.


White got a little sloppy there for a moment and Joe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, White has managed to get both his arms back between Joe's legs - danger averted.

White is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

White working for a triangle but Joe defends it easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
White can't keep his opponent in guard - Joe advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rodeo Joe dominated that round.
That's time! Joe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


White wants to clinch.
Joe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
It seemed like White was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
White closes the distance looking to clinch

and Joe counters with a single leg into guard. White didn't expect that.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Joe stands and throws White's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Joe tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Rodeo Joe overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Joe advances to full mount.
Joe wants to stand but White is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
White keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Joe throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! White has his hands clasped together but Joe breaks the hold and White is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Joe!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rodeo Joe!
Rodeo Joe bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
