PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reginald Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Reginald Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peters throws out a loose jab but Brooks uses good head movement to avoid it.
Brooks throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Peters really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Peters swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Peters misses with an uppercut.
Brooks throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Peters counters with a nice uppercut.
Brooks avoids the body shot from Peters.
Peters steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Brooks.
Brooks fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Peters has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Peters takes a swing at Brooks's ribcage but misses.
Peters dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brooks throws a right and a left that Peters avoids nicely.
As Brooks tries to get set, Peters tries to push him back and clinch up but Brooks manages to avoid the attempt.
Brooks throws a nice head kick!
Peters takes one on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brooks fails to land with a series of punches.
Peters takes a shot to the body in his stride.

The fighters circle momentarily. Brooks darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Peters takes a swing at Brooks's ribcage but misses.
Brooks now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Brooks keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brooks is looking for the big counter here.
Brooks cracks Peters with a right hand to the side of the head.
Brooks looks to score with a jab to the body but Peters is just out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Peters on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Peters swings away with a body shot that misses
and Peters takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Peters throws a body punch but Brooks moves out of range.
Brooks jabs Peters to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Brooks throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brooks throws a good cross that connects.
Brooks misses with an uppercut
and Peters cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Peters misses with a wild body shot.
Peters stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brooks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Peters throws a right hand that misses

and Brooks counters with a crisp one two that drops Peters! Brooks thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Peters to his feet! Peters is in big trouble!

Peters is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Peters takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Oh Peters is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brooks misses with a two punch combination.
Peters is looking to counter punch.
Peters is looking to clinch but Brooks is avoiding it.
Brooks lands with a big left! Peters is wobbled badly! Brooks comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Peters to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
