Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Bogtrotter!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morello dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Morello is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.


It looks like Bruce Bogtrotter has been cut.
Morello has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Morello cracks Bogtrotter with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Morello throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bogtrotter.
Bruce Bogtrotter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morello scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Bogtrotter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Morello counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.


That has opened up Bruce Bogtrotter's cut even more.
Bogtrotter misses with an attempted mid kick.
Morello was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Morello throws a big shot that misses.
Morello fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bogtrotter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Morello avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Morello lands with a nice body punch.

Morello scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Morello connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bogtrotter momentarily.
Morello steps in with a hook that catches Bogtrotter right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Morello follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Bogtrotter looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Timmy Morello!
Timmy Morello decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
