Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Hardy!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hardy counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hardy scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Hardy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Hardy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gracie takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gracie misses with a double jab
enabling Hardy to counter with a crisp jab.
Nice uppercut there from Hardy.
Nice takedown defense from Hardy. No joy for Gracie on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hendo Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hardy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gracie doesn't seem bothered though.
Hardy scores with the left hand. Gracie knows he should have avoided that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hardy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hardy wants it to stay on the feet.

Hardy works over Gracie's head and body with a nice combination.
Hardy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hardy misses with a few strikes there.
Gracie dives in for a single leg takedown but Hardy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Hardy cracks Gracie with a good jab.
Hardy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hardy lands with a shot to the body.

Gracie looks up at the clock. Bad move! Hardy lands a right hand from hell, dropping Gracie. Hardy pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
