Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bernardo Bernardo!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wells changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bernardo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wells decides to stand back up.
Bernardo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wells defends it nicely.
Wells slips a jab from Bernardo.
Wells shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bernardo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
You can see the frustration on Bernardo's face as Wells controls the position.
Wells lands an elbow.
Bernardo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wells creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wells is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bernardo's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wells has an Americana. Bernardo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Wells is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Wells hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
