The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broucke lands an overhand right.
Broucke avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Broucke looks to land a right hand but Gent moved out of range.
Broucke lands with a shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Broucke . Gent does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gent steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Broucke .
Broucke swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Broucke misses with a shot to the body
and Gent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Jules Broucke has been cut.
Good standup being displayed there by Broucke as he connects with a hook.
Gent uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Broucke .
Gent tries to counter with a clinch but Broucke shakes him off and moves away.
Broucke lands with an uppercut that bounces Gent off the cage and back into range.

Gent walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Gent swings wildly with an uppercut but Broucke uses good head movement to avoid it.

Gent scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Broucke misses with the head strike.
Gent lands a left hand.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Gent.

A nice right hand lands inside from Gent.
Gent throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Broucke s head.

Broucke is rocked!
Gent has a couple of punches blocked by Broucke .
Oh Broucke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Broucke seems to have got his legs back now.

Gent throws a big uppercut that drops Broucke ! More strikes from Gent and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Broucke lies dazed against the cage as Gent celebrates with his cornermen!
