PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cu Chulainn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chester Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chulainn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Blood of Cu Chulainn. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor lands with a slapping head kick.
Taylor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chulainn but Chulainn pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Chulainn has hold of one of Taylor's legs. Taylor is fighting the takedown attempt but Chulainn gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Taylor changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chulainn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Cu Chulainn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chulainn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Taylor has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Chulainn uses from the top position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Chulainn's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Chulainn duly obliges.

Taylor wants to free his trapped foot but Chulainn is holding on for dear life with his legs.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Chulainn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Taylor shoots for a double leg takedown but Chulainn sprawls well. He's pushed Taylor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Taylor jumps guard and drags Chulainn to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Chulainn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Chester Taylor is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
