Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sid Vicious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vicious comes to the cage accompanied by Sid Justice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Horrible takedown by Maia or perhaps it was just good defense by Vicious which made him look bad.
Maia will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sid Vicious has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Maia.

Vicious feints and as Maia raises his hands in defense, Vicious changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Maia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vicious can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vicious has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Maia looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Vicious is defending well. Maia quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Vicious has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Maia celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
