The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Svensson gets the takedown into side control.
Jackson tries to improve position but can't.
Jackson is working hard here to advance position.
We've been hearing good reports from Jackson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Svensson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jackson to his feet.
Svensson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jackson on the side of the head.
A jab from Svensson misses.
Jackson darts in looking for a takedown but Svensson gets double underhooks and turns Jackson into the cage.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Svensson, which made it look bad.
Jackson misses with a low kick.

Svensson instigates a clinch.
Jackson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Svensson is working for takedown but Jackson is calmly controlling the position for now.

Jackson tries to pull guard but Svensson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Svensson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Smoosh Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A left and a right from Svensson both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Smoosh Jackson has been cut.
Jackson shoots for a double leg takedown but Svensson sprawls well. He's pushed Jackson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Svensson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Jackson is pushing Svensson's head away, looking to escape. Svensson manages to hold on to the position though.

Svensson in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Jackson looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Svensson turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
