Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitri Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez comes into the arena with Clay - Abscond blaring out of the sound system. Ramos has chosen Simple Man as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dmitri Ramos!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos tries to clinch but Ramirez is having none of it.
Ramirez drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ramos sprawls and moves away.
Ramos tries to clinch there but Ramirez circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ramos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ramos tries to clinch up but Ramirez circles away and keeps his distance.
Ramos doesn't manage to clinch there - Ramirez circles away.
Ramos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ramirez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ramos moves in looking to clinch but Ramirez pushes him off.

Ramirez changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Ramos fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ramirez to the ground. Ramos is now in Ramirez's guard.
Ramos wants to stand and escape but instead Ramirez has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Ramos wants to stand but Ramirez has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ramos is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Ramirez pulls Ramos in close to prevent any damage.

Ramirez drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ramos sprawls and moves away.

Ramos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
