Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Brewer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raheem Sterling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Brewer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Raheem Sterling!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sterling pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Sterling has managed to clinch.

Brewer pulls guard effortlessly.
Brewer looking to control.
Sterling trying to control the position from guard on top but Brewer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sterling really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brewer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brewer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Brewer looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sterling can do anything to dispel that myth.

Brewer throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Check out the look on Brewer's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Sterling is trying to escape the position but Brewer is controlling the position.
Brewer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Brewer goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sterling has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Brewer but great work by Sterling.

Sterling is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brewer pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nice takedown defense from Sterling. No joy for Brewer on that attempt.

Brewer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sterling can do to turn this around?

Sterling is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that James Brewer will probably get the nod.

Sterling stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sterling wants it to stay on the feet.
