Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Greg Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Socket Extender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Extender comes into a darkened arena with his song building. BOOM! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Extender has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Smith creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

I was talking to Smith's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Smith drops Extender with a big knee straight up the middle! Extender is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

The cut above Socket Extender's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smith steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Extender is out on his feet! Smith sets himself and nearly takes Extender's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
