Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olaf Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost comes to the cage accompanied by O-Zone - Dragostea Din Tei. James has chosen Tuesday's Gone as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy James!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost tries a head kick but it misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by James.

James lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Frost circles away quickly and effectively.
As James backs away, Frost returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
James throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Frost counters with a left to the body.
Frost tries to clinch but fails miserably
and James counters with a nice body shot.
Frost on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Our spies down at at Montreal Fighter's Gym (5* Sparring) inform us that James has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
James has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

I would just about give that final round to Tommy James.
