Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jislaya Koshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusev Hungary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rusev Hungary is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jislaya Koshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rusev Hungary!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Hungary. Those never looked like landing.
Koshi appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Hungary throws a combination. Koshi tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hungary enables Koshi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hungary manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Koshi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hungary dives on top into guard.


Koshi has his foot on Hungary's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hungary works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hungary got a little sloppy there for a moment and Koshi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hungary has managed to get both his arms back between Koshi's legs - danger averted.

Hungary is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rusev Hungary seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Koshi gets caught flat footed, as Hungary shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Koshi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Koshi is looking for a triangle here but Hungary uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Koshi looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Well Hungary has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
