Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pudsey Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and K D Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pudsey Bear looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillon throws a nice looking combination but Bear bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dillon.
Dillon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Pudsey Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of K D Dillon.

Bear misses with a low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dillon tries to score with a low kick but Bear moves his leg out of the way.

Dillon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dillon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bear showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dillon.

so Dillon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dillon controls from within his opponent's guard.
Bear keeping full guard, as Dillon tries to pass.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dillon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Bear keeping moving, preventing Dillon from controlling successfully.
Bear trying to keep a closed guard but Dillon is proving a slippery customer.

Dillon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bear looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dillon passes into side control.
Bear is breathing heavily.
Bear takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Dillon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bear is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Dillon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bear has escaped the position, nice work there.

Dillon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Bear is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Bear knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dillon on the ground.

Dillon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

An elbow from Dillon crashes against the mat.
Bear takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Dillon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bear has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bear wants to control but Dillon postures up.
Dillon misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Bear tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

K D Dillon dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Dillon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bear was well out of range. Poor timing from Dillon.
Dillon tries to clinch there but Bear circles away.
Dillon misses with a jab, cross combination.
No luck for Dillon with that takedown attempt.

Dillon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Bear throws a solid leg kick but Dillon takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bear.
Bear throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Dillon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bear tries a low kick but Dillon avoids it.
Bear misses with a leg kick

and Dillon counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bear's guard now.

Dillon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dillon pushes down on Bear's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bear on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bear tries to get out of the position.
Dillon has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Dillon working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Bear looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Dillon! Submission of the night perhaps?
