The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez moves out of range as Crux throws a body kick.
As Crux backs off Sanchez throws a huge counter combo but Crux manages to avoid it all.
Sanchez misses with a few strikes there.
Good leg kick by Crux there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A thudding body kick lands there by Crux!
Sanchez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Crux blocks a head kick by Sanchez.
Crux attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Sanchez is looking for the big counter here.

Crux has managed to clinch.
Sanchez jumps guard but Crux turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head punch on the inside from Crux fails to land.

Crux is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sanchez can't fight it off and eventually Crux manages to take the fight to the floor. Sanchez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Crux drops back looking for a leg! Sanchez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sanchez manages to kick Crux off! Crux jumps back into Sanchez's guard.
Crux sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sanchez's guard.
Sanchez is looking for a sweep. Crux is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Crux is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sanchez is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanchez is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Crux scores with a couple of nice shots.

Sanchez is still in real trouble! Can Crux finish him?

Crux is nestled in close to Sanchez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Crux lands a big elbow - Sanchez is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Crux!
