Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Markov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Halilovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Markov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Some Russian rap. Fedor Markov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markov looks to score with a jab to the body but Halilovic is just out of range.
Markov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Both fighters circling a little - Markov finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Markov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Markov lands a jab to the nose.
Markov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Halilovic moves away from the strike by Markov.
And Halilovic tries to counter it with a takedown but Markov pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Markov has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Halilovic is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Halilovic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Markov sprawls well. Markov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Halilovic gets slowly back to his feet.

Markov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Halilovic moves away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Markov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Halilovic accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Halilovic shoots in looking for a takedown. Markov tries to sprawl out of it but Halilovic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Markov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
