The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mon Ami scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Moore throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Moore swings widly with a right hand
and Mon Ami makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Moore throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Mon Ami was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Mon Ami moves out of range as Moore strikes.
Mon Ami lands a body shot.
Mon Ami connects with a body shot that sends Moore's belly button to the back.
Moore pushes Mon Ami away with a front kick.
Mon Ami shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Moore pinned against the cage. Moore gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mon Ami just misses with a punch to the body.
Mon Ami takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Mon Ami tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Moore defends well and Mon Ami ends up having to push Moore into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Moore uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mon Ami.
Moore throws a push kick but Mon Ami slaps the foot to one side.
Mon Ami fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Moore has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mon Ami slips a straight right by Moore.

Moore lunges at Mon Ami with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mon Ami's hand.
Moore is looking to land body kicks.
Mon Ami blocks a low kick nicely.

Mon Ami motions for Moore to come forward. Mon Ami throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mon Ami takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Moore throws out a loose jab but Mon Ami uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mon Ami tries a quick counter leg kick but Moore is wise to it.
Mon Ami takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Moore pushes Mon Ami away with a front kick.
Moore lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mon Ami circles away quickly and effectively.
Moore throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mon Ami takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mon Ami is rocked!
Moore connects with a superb combination that knocks Mon Ami out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Moore before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Mon Ami!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Archie Moore!
