The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov scores with a jab to the body.
Donk. Magomedov catches Hughes right on the button with a cross.
Magomedov fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hughes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Magomedov throws out a powerful jab.
Magomedov lands a slapping body shot.
Hughes shoots in looking for a takedown. Magomedov tries to sprawl out of it but Hughes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Magomedov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Magomedov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Magomedov lands a jab to the nose.
Hughes tries to close the distance and clinch but Magomedov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Magomedov lands an overhand right.
Hughes is rocked!
Hughes misses with an uppercut.
Hughes is still on wobbly legs! Can Magomedov finish him?
Magomedov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Magomedov wants it to stay on the feet.
Magnus Magomedov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hughes tries to clinch up
and Magomedov counters with a big right hand! Oh Hughes is in trouble here! Magomedov follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
