Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ellis Reed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimanze Clinton!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clinton gets caught flat footed, as Reed shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Reed is looking to work some ground and pound but Clinton has wrist control.

Clinton looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clinton controls Reed momentarily but Reed frees himself.
Reed stops Clinton from standing up.
Reed with a flurry of punches that miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clinton not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Reed really is a fat lump.
Reed throwing strikes from guard but Clinton blocks nicely.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Clinton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Clinton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reed can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Reed won't allow Clinton to sweep him here.
Clinton trying to keep a closed guard but Reed is proving a slippery customer.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Reed keeps the fight on the outside.

Clinton drives through with a takedown into Reed's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Reed has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Clinton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Reed working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clinton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clinton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Reed controls Clinton momentarily but Clinton frees himself.

Clinton sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Reed doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Clinton paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Reed - great work!
