Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kake Kelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jak Ethan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ethan scores with a punch to the head.
Kelli closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ethan circles away.
Ethan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jak Ethan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ethan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kelli being controlled for a moment.

Ethan stands up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ethan.
Ethan throws out a loose jab but Kelli uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kelli moves away from the strike by Ethan.

Kelli scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ethan is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kelli's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Ethan tries to get to full guard but Kelli has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ethan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Ethan manages to escape and get back to his feet!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ethan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kelli sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Kelli closes the distance and clinches.
Ethan is stalling here.
Ethan looks gassed!
Kelli stalling.
Kelli blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A short body shot lands from Kelli as the two fighters clinch.
Ethan avoiding damage.
Kelli lands a damaging elbow.
Kelli prevents a body shot from Ethan.

Kelli manages to break the clinch.
Ethan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ethan shoots in but no luck this time.
Ethan tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Kelli counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ethan's guard now.

Ethan can't keep his opponent in guard - Kelli advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kelli looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kelli prevents Ethan from improving his position.
Kelli passes to side control.
Ethan is looking to reverse the position.
Ethan manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Still in half guard, Ethan seems content to control.

Ethan is trying to control the action in half guard but Kelli is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Ethan escapes and gets back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Ethan or perhaps it was just good defense by Kelli which made him look bad.
Kake Kelli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jak Ethan.
Ethan doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Kelli counters with a single leg into guard. Ethan didn't expect that.

Ethan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kelli can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ethan working a defensive guard here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kelli tries to stand but Ethan is controlling from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kake Kelli dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Nice takedown defense from Ethan. No joy for Kelli on that attempt.
Kelli tries to clinch

and Ethan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kelli!
Ethan lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Ethan is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kelli has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kelli!
Kelli slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Ethan is trying to control Kelli's posture but Kelli avoids it.
Kelli wants to control but Ethan is keeping him busy.
Ethan is breathing heavily.

Kelli stands up and beckons Ethan to his feet.

Ethan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kelli.
Ethan takes one on the button.
Ethan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ethan misses with a wild combination.
Kelli shoots in and drives through. Ethan sprawls well.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kelli.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kake Kelli. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ethan fails with the takedown.
Kelli is looking to clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kelli closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kelli lands in his opponent's guard.
Kelli wants to stand but Ethan is controlling his posture from full guard.

Ethan working for submissions but it's allowed Kelli to get to half guard.
Ethan regains full guard. Nicely done.

Ethan has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kelli doesn't defend quickly enough and Ethan has managed to lock this one up! Can Kelli escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ethan on a fantastic submission victory.
