The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross shoots in looking for a takedown but Bararu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ross's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bararu moves out of range of the body kick.
Bararu lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Ross tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bararu defends well and Ross ends up having to push Bararu into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Bararu misses with a takedown attempt - Ross sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bararu shoots in for a double leg but Ross sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rick Ross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sumon Bararu.

Ross escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bararu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bararu has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ross to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bararu is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ross pulls down on the head and he's put Bararu to sleep! This one is all over!
