Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Angewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jim Angewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luke Keller!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keller shoots in but Angewis avoids the takedown attempt easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Angewis enables Keller to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Angewis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Angewis wants to get back to his feet but Keller passes into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Angewis is looking to escape.
Angewis trying to control from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Angewis tries to kick Keller off but Keller keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Keller postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Angewis to stand up.
Angewis dives in for a single leg takedown but Keller sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Angewis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Angewis throws a hook to the side of Keller's head but Keller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice takedown defense from Keller. No joy for Angewis on that attempt.
And Keller tries to counter it with a takedown but Angewis pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Keller misses with a series of wild punches.

Keller gets a takedown into half guard.
Angewis tries to kick Keller off in order to stand up. Keller Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Keller wants to control but Angewis is keeping him busy.
Angewis is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Keller is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Angewis is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Keller trying to control but Angewis is having none of it.
Keller might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Angewis haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Angewis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Keller lands a couple of good shots and Angewis has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Angewis won't enjoy being in this position. Keller looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Angewis is tapping - it's over boys! Keller picks up the submission victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Luke Keller!
