Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Nogueira.
Nogueira closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Roth's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roth not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Roth throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Nogueira sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Roth's guard.
Roth might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Nogueira is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Roth defends it well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nogueira is keen to just control but Roth is a slippery customer.

Roth knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nogueira on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nogueira lands with a punch from half guard.

Nogueira is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Roth is controlling an arm, preventing Nogueira from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Nogueira quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Nogueira but it's paid off an Roth is forced to tap! Nice work by Nogueira.
