Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erik Kramer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Erik Kramer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, John Brown!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kramer scores with a hook to the body. Brown takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Brown has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kramer finds it's way round the side to connect with Brown's head.


It looks like John Brown has been cut.
Brown swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Brown shoots in but no luck this time.

Brown manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kramer on his heels. He'll look to pass Kramer's guard now, I'm sure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kramer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kramer working for a triangle but Brown defends it easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kramer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brown controls the pace.

Kramer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kramer has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Brown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kramer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kramer throws out a loose jab but Brown uses good head movement to avoid it.

John Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Brown counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kramer won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
You can see the frustration on Kramer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Brown cracks Kramer with a big right hand but Kramer just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Brown tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Brown is putting a hurting on Kramer here, landing some big shots from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but John Brown will probably get the nod.

That's time! Kramer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Kramer loads up on a big right hand but Brown slips the punch.
And Brown tries to counter it with a takedown but Kramer pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Brown fails with the takedown.
Kramer was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Kramer drops Brown with a beautiful combination! Brown stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kramer is looking for the KO!

and Brown counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kramer won't be happy with that.

Brown connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kramer some visible discomfort.

Brown lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kramer down.
John Brown has got the better of the ground game so far.

Brown is stalling here. Kramer is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Brown seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kramer has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Brown slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kramer has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Brown should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kramer has tightened it up now! Brown should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
