Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleksandr Usyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patton comes to the cage accompanied by Keep your hands to yourself- Georgia Satellites. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Usyk moves away from the strike by Patton.
Patton throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Usyk gets tackled into the cage by Patton. Patton maintains the clinch.
Usyk told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Usyk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Usyk rushes Patton and presses him up against the cage.

Usyk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Patton walks into a jab.

It looks like George Patton has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Usyk looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
It looked like Patton was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Patton looks to score with a jab to the body but Usyk is just out of range.
Usyk throws the left hand but Patton avoids the punch easily.

Patton tries to keep at a distance but Usyk has taken the fight into the clinch.
Usyk throws an elbow that misses.

Patton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Patton moves out of range as Usyk throws a body kick.
Usyk wants to clinch.

Usyk instigates a clinch.

Usyk lands an elbow inside.
Patton goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Usyk throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Usyk gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

George Patton's cut is getting worse.
Patton is trying to break free.

Usyk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Patton throws out a loose jab but Usyk uses good head movement to avoid it.

Usyk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Usyk creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
