Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mister Pink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJay Lowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pink comes into the arena with Mitsa blaring out of the sound system. Lowe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Drake - Best I Ever Had kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lowe shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lowe showed some decent athleticism there.
Pink is trying to get back to full guard.
It looks like Lowe is going to stand back up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pink stands up and beckons Lowe to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pink stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lowe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lowe shoots and misses

and Pink counters by moving into the clinch.
Pink drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lowe pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pink shoots in for a double leg but Lowe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pink knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lowe on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pink trying to hold on to Lowe's head to control him but Lowe postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Mister Pink is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pink looking to sit in guard and control but Lowe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Lowe lands a couple of digs.
Pink looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lowe is one step ahead there.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pink, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
