Durham's entrance music is The Unstoppable by Roy Jones jr.. A fine choice. Michael Durham could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kinho Santos's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Durham as he avoids it easily.

Durham drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Durham passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Santos!

Durham's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

It looks like Kinho Santos has been cut.

Durham is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Santos is surviving well by controlling Durham's body position as best he can.
Santos is wriggling around trying to escape.

Durham working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Santos is desperately trying to improve his position but Durham has a good base and remains in mount.

Santos is working to get back to half guard.
Santos looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Durham has the hooks in. Santos is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Durham doesn't have the hooks in and Santos manages to turn into his guard.
Santos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Durham. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Durham is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Santos wants to control from the top but Durham keeps moving.
Santos might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Durham kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Santos stands and throws Durham's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Santos wants to stand but Durham is controlling his arm.

Durham is looking to sinch up a triangle. Santos throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Durham's body to avoid the submission. Durham has instead reached around Santos's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Durham arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
