The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paschal darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Paschal seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Paschal takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Paschal uses his free foot to push down on Ankjrll's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ankjrll.

Ankjrll has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Paschal has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Ankjrll! Can he survive? No! He's out! Paschal gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
