The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sangchaan leaves Fredd with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fredd looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sangchaan is fending him off so far but Fredd persists. Nope, Sangchaan circles away and we're back to standing.
Sangchaan thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fredd tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sangchaan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fredd somewhat.
Roldan Sangchaan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mercury Fredd.
Fredd fails with the takedown.
Sangchaan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Sangchaan gets a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fredd tries to pull guard but Sangchaan forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
