Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philip Dyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mookie Blaylock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Blaylock's choice of entrance music: Alive. Philip Dyson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mookie Blaylock's chin.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dyson misses with a low kick.
Blaylock misses with a looping left.
Blaylock turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Blaylock slips a jab from Dyson.
Blaylock looks to land a combination but Dyson avoids it well.
Dyson scores with a decent looking hook.
Blaylock has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dyson throws a hook but Blaylock avoids it easily.
Dyson missing with a left hand there. Blaylock was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dyson lands a front kick.
Blaylock cracks Dyson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Philip Dyson has been cut.
Blaylock walks into a stiff left hand from Dyson.
Blaylock looks to score with a jab to the body but Dyson is just out of range.
Blaylock jabs Dyson to the body, keeping him at a distance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blaylock wants to control but Dyson is keeping him busy.

Dyson fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Blaylock avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dyson.
Blaylock is trying to escape the position but Dyson is controlling the position.

Dyson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Dyson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Blaylock is trying to maintain the position but Dyson is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Blaylock throws an off balance right hand
and Dyson counters with a left to the body.
Dyson tries to land a front kick but Blaylock steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Blaylock slips a jab from Dyson.
Dyson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice body kick there by Dyson.
Dyson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Blaylock on the side of the head.
Dyson moves away from the strike by Blaylock.
Dyson misses with a wild body shot.
Blaylock throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dyson misses with a leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Philip Dyson will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dyson moves away from the strike by Blaylock.
Dyson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dyson throws a sloppy body shot
and Blaylock connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A jab from Dyson does it's job there.
It looks like Mookie Blaylock has been cut.
Dyson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dyson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Blaylock.
Dyson thuds a left hand into Blaylock's body.
Blaylock takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Blaylock avoids the body shot from Dyson.
Blaylock steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Blaylock works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Philip Dyson's cut is getting worse.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A lazy left from Dyson finds it's target.
Dyson needs to keep his hands up - Blaylock had a free shot at his head there.
Dyson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Blaylock.
Blaylock keeps Dyson at a distance using the push kick.

Dyson takes a swing at Blaylock's ribcage but misses.
Blaylock swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Blaylock and Dyson goes tumbling to the canvas! Blaylock follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Philip Dyson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Blaylock content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Let's hope that Blaylock has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Blaylock perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Dyson wants to control but Blaylock is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Blaylock takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Blaylock blocks a jab.
Blaylock chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dyson can pounce on him.
Blaylock takes one to the chin there.
Dyson lands a jab to Blaylock's midsection.
A left lands for Dyson.
A bone on bone clash there as Blaylock blocks the leg kick.
Blaylock was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dyson. Blaylock does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dyson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jeez, Philip Dyson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Philip Dyson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
