Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trey Hills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trey Hills had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Saint!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hills lands with a thumping leg kick.

Hills shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hills content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hills wants to stand up but Saint has a hold of him and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hills stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hills seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Saint for as long as he can get away with.
Hills has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Hills throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Saint.
Saint scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hills doesn't seem bothered though.
Hills dives in for a single leg takedown but Saint sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Hills tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Saint smiles and moves away.
Hills shoots in looking for a takedown but Saint manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hills's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Hills. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Saint scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hills doesn't seem bothered though.

Hills shoots in and drives through. Saint sprawls well.

Hills tries to bum rush Saint with a series of wild strikes but Saint uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hills checks a leg kick.
Saint misses with a body kick.
Saint scores with a nice head shot.
Hills misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Saint punishes Hills's body with a nice straight punch.

Hills checks a low kick from Saint.
A jab from Saint finds it's way through Hills's defenses.
Hills tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Hills moves into the clinch successfully.

Saint breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hills throws a nice looking combination but Saint bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hills shoots in looking for a takedown. Saint tries to sprawl out of it but Hills keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saint manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Saint is looking to slow Hills down with leg kicks.
Saint throws a body shot but no joy.
Hills is looking to counter punch.
Saint throws a hook but Hills avoids it easily.
Saint keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hills tries to bum rush Saint with a series of wild strikes but Saint uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Saint throws out a loose jab but Hills uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hills misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hills swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Saint now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Hills defending well as Saint loads up on a big left hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hills misses with the combination.
Saint connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hills. Hills circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Trey Hills has been cut.
Saint scores with a hook.
Saint misses with a looping right.
Nice straight punches there by Saint. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Saint.

Saint cracks Hills with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Saint has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hills to stand back up!

Hills is rocked!
Saint finds Hills's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Hills flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Saint lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Hills will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johnny Saint!
Johnny Saint bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
