Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, BAM BAM!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BAM showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stax.
BAM tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stax swats him away and circles back towards the center.

BAM gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Stax wants to control from the top but BAM keeps moving.
Stax is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BAM avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
BAM really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stax. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Stax prevents BAM from getting back to his feet.
Stax postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Stax throws a big right hand that misses.
Stax makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Stax wants to pass the guard but BAM is keeping the position.
BAM tries to strike from the bottom.

Stax is in close to BAM's body, working some short punches and elbows.
BAM is trying to control the position but Stax postures up.
BAM utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
BAM is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
BAM is looking to stand up but Stax isn't so interested in that idea.
Stax has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
BAM keeping moving, preventing Stax from controlling successfully.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Stax throws a jab but it's blocked by BAM.
BAM wants to clinch.
BAM doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
BAM looks gassed!
Stax lands a nice shot to the body.
BAM tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stax swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice takedown defense from Stax. No joy for BAM on that attempt.

Stax controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Stax is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Stax drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Stax as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! BAM screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Stax! Nice submission victory there!
