The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry connects with a body shot that sends Song's belly button to the back.
Song misses with the body kick

and Perry counters by moving into the clinch.

Song breaks the clinch.
Song explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Perry tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Song defends well and Perry ends up having to push Song into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Song throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Perry's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Song dives in looking to finish as Perry flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Song's strikes! Song is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Perry's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Perry was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

A less than humble Moose Song misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
