The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ben Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

zinger closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - zinger lands in his opponent's guard.
Robinson wants to stand up but zinger is controlling him.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Robinson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with zinger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

zinger closes this distance looking for a takedown but Robinson circles away.
zinger shoots in looking for a takedown. Robinson tries to sprawl out of it but zinger keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Robinson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Robinson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

zinger seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Robinson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
