Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Percya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deshawn Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deshawn Jackson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Percya, pushing him back against the cage.

Percya breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Percya tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Percya misses with a two punch combination.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Percya, which made it look bad.
Percya tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson throws a counter combo.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Percya as he jumps to the side.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Percya tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Percya to the ground. Percya escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Deshawn Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
