The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vorster tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vorster shoots in but no luck this time.
Tveskabb lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Vorster on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Vorster clinches up with Tveskabb and pushes him back against the cage.
Tveskabb can't find room to land a body shot as Vorster controls the action.
Tveskabb lands a right hand.
Vorster tries to pull guard but Tveskabb won't allow it.
A right hook to the body lands for Tveskabb.
Tveskabb lands a hook to the side of the head.
Vorster tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jandre Vorster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vorster drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tveskabb gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Vorster has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tveskabb avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vorster is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tveskabb pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Vorster has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tveskabb after a bit of a struggle.
Tveskabb works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Vorster is trying to drag Tveskabb to the mat but Tveskabb just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Tveskabb breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Horrible takedown attempt by Vorster or perhaps it was just good defense by Tveskabb, which made it look bad.
Tveskabb swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Vorster takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nice uppercut lands for Tveskabb. That snapped Vorster's head back.
Vorster looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vorster tries to clinch up
and Tveskabb counters with a nice uppercut.
Vorster tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tveskabb swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tveskabb tries a quick counter leg kick but Vorster is wise to it.
Vorster fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vorster doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tveskabb counters with a right hand to the body.
Tveskabb lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vorster looks to clinch
and Tveskabb counters with a nice low kick that buckles Vorster's knee momentarily.
Vorster shoots in for a takedown but Tveskabb shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Vorster.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tveskabb tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Vorster presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Vorster looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Tveskabb tries to lock up and control but Vorster gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Vorster is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tveskabb can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Vorster has isolated one of Tveskabb's arms. Tveskabb looking to fight him off but Vorster twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Jandre Vorster started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
