Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Angewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Keller will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jim Angewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luke Keller!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keller slaps away a takedown attempt from Angewis, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Angewis gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Angewis has clasped his hands together around Keller's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Keller sneaks out the side door and pushes Angewis away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Angewis slaps away a takedown attempt from Keller, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Angewis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Keller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Angewis clinches up with Keller and pushes him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Angewis lands a left hand that snaps the head of Keller backwards.
Angewis jumps guard but Keller stands there with Angewis around his waist. Angewis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Angewis tries to throw a body punch but Keller avoids it by throwing Angewis back against the cage.

Angewis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Angewis moves into the clinch.

Keller shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Angewis as he jumps to the side.
Angewis tries to counter by clinching up but Keller breaks away and moves out of range.
Keller moves in looking to clinch but Angewis pushes him off.
Keller lands a jab to Angewis's midsection.
Angewis tries to clinch but Keller moves out of range.

Angewis darts in and clinches Keller up against the cage.
Angewis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Keller smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Angewis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Angewis moves into the clinch.

Angewis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Angewis wants to clinch
and Keller counters with a series of strikes. Angewis will be more careful next time no doubt.
Angewis is breathing heavily.

Keller dives in and grabs Angewis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Angewis pushes down on Keller's head and hops out.
Angewis throws a head kick that misses

and Keller counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Keller stands up and waves to Angewis to follow him.

Keller gets a double leg takedown into Angewis's guard.

Angewis is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Keller presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Keller is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Angewis pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Angewis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Keller to keep the fight standing.

Angewis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Angewis throws a right hand that Keller ducks under and follows up with a left that Keller also avoids with ease.

Angewis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Keller is fending him off so far but Angewis persists. Nope, Keller circles away and we're back to standing.

Angewis just leaning against Keller, taking a breather.
Angewis tries to pull guard but Keller won't allow it.
Angewis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Keller content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Angewis scores with a nice hook to the head.

Angewis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A lazy body kick from Angewis
and Keller counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Keller moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Keller shoots in for a takedown but Angewis shows good takedown defense.

Angewis rushes Keller and presses him up against the cage.
Angewis lands a hook that snaps the head of Keller backwards.

Angewis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Angewis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Keller swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice takedown defense from Angewis. No joy for Keller on that attempt.

Angewis has managed to clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Angewis.
Angewis tries to pull guard but Keller holds him up against the cage and eventually Angewis drops back down to his feet.
Keller blocks a punch to the side of the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Angewis doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Angewis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jim Angewis dominated that round.

Angewis throws a jab when Keller was well out of range.
Angewis goes for a double leg but Keller avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Keller continues to drive forward.
Angewis misses with a kick to the body
and Keller counters with a nice kick to the body.
Keller looks for a takedown but Angewis sprawls well.

Keller closes the distance and clinches.
Keller managing to block the knees to the body from Angewis.
A head punch on the inside from Angewis fails to land.

Angewis breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keller lands with an overhand left.
Keller misses with a body kick.
Angewis leaves Keller with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Angewis takes a kick to the side of the head.
Keller avoids the head kick by Angewis.
Keller lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Jim Angewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Keller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Angewis manages to avoid it.
Keller avoids a punch combination nicely.
Keller feints the counter takedown.

Angewis rushes Keller and presses him up against the cage.

Angewis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Angewis tries to keep at a distance but Keller has taken the fight into the clinch.

Angewis manages to break the clinch.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Angewis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Keller kicks Angewis off and gets back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters circling - Angewis throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Luke Keller seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Angewis tries to clinch up.
Angewis throws a body punch but Keller moves out of range.
Angewis blocks a leg kick.
It looked like Angewis was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
A clash of legs there as Keller blocks the low kick.
Angewis wants to clinch.
A punch combination from Angewis misses.

Angewis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Angewis missing with knees to the body.

Keller ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Keller no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Angewis trying to control the position from guard on top but Keller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Angewis wants to pass the guard but Keller is keeping the position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Angewis's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Angewis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Angewis chips away with some ground and pound.
Angewis looking to sit in guard and control but Keller gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Keller moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Angewis is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Angewis tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

Keller has isolated one of Angewis's arms. Angewis looking to fight him off but Keller twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
