The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trujillo moves in looking to clinch but Paindogg pushes him off.
Paindogg keeps the fight on the outside.

Paindogg is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Trujillo's half guard.
Trujillo pushes Paindogg off but Paindogg dives into side control.
Paindogg wants to stand but Trujillo has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

Paindogg slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
It looks like Paindogg might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Paindogg wanted to stand there but Trujillo had control of the position.

Trujillo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Trujillo seems a little lost for a moment, as Paindogg dominates the positioning.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Paindogg is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Trujillo can't fight it off and eventually Paindogg manages to take the fight to the floor. Trujillo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Trujillo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Paindogg looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Paindogg looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Paindogg!
