PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Cratom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cratom has chosen Savages by Theory of a Deadman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luke Keller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Cratom!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cratom gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Keller jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cratom walks away with a smile on his face. Keller gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Keller lands a jab to the head.
Keller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Keller is looking to clinch but Cratom is avoiding it.

Cratom moves into the clinch successfully.
Cratom looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Keller jumps guard but Cratom turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luke Keller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cratom content to slow the pace in the clinch.

The crowd are getting on Cratom's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
Cratom tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Keller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Cratom feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Keller looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Cratom is defending well. Keller quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Cratom has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Keller celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
