Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny Elmano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Laddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laddy misses with a takedown attempt - Elmano sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Elmano had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Laddy is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Elmano Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Laddy's back instead.

Elmano is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Laddy is defending well though. Elmano let's go of the attempt for now.

Elmano is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Laddy knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Laddy for a finish.

Elmano is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Laddy has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Elmano has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Laddy taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Elmano doesn't care though - he's delighted!
