Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boris Nedkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ki Xang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xang has chosen Pschosocial-Slipknot as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xang bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nedkov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Xang fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nice body kick from Xang.
Xang misses with a head kick.
Nedkov went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Xang is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nedkov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Xang parries the strikes from Nedkov easily there. Nedkov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Xang to escape.

Nedkov decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Xang stalks Nedkov and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nedkov's face. Nedkov staggers backwards, shaken.

A jab lands there for Nedkov.
Nedkov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Xang moves away.
Xang swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A slapping leg kick lands for Xang.

Xang misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Nedkov looks to land a combination but Xang avoids it well.

Nedkov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Xang momentarily.

Xang closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Nedkov is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Xang seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Nedkov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Xang moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Xang drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Nedkov defends it well.
Nedkov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Xang.

My spies in Demon's Elite Gym inform me that Xang has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Nedkov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Xang defends well.

Xang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nedkov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Xang has managed to get both his arms back between Nedkov's legs - danger averted.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nedkov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Nedkov has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Xang to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Nedkov is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Xang pulls down on the head and he's put Nedkov to sleep! This one is all over!
