Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Armand Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dana Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dana Jackson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Armand Bauer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Armand Bauer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dana Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bauer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jackson.
Bauer fails with a takedown attempt.
Jackson tries to counter with a clinch but Bauer shakes him off and moves away.
Jackson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bauer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jackson moves into the clinch successfully.
Bauer is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jackson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Bauer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bauer on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Jackson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jackson manages to end up in side control.

Bauer throws Jackson to one side and escapes!

Jackson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bauer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bauer is trying to get back to half guard.

Jackson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Jackson closes the distance and clinches.
Bauer has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jackson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Armand Bauer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bauer is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jackson is keeping busy.

Jackson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bauer uses from the top position.
Jackson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Jackson wants to sweep but no luck.

Bauer looking to sit in guard and control but Jackson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bauer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jackson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Bauer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jackson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jackson is looking to work some ground and pound but Bauer has wrist control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jackson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jackson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bauer tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Bauer.
Jackson raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Jackson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Jackson advances to mount.
Jackson looking to control and managing it successfully.

Jackson stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Jackson feints and as Bauer raises his hands in defense, Jackson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bauer can't keep his opponent in guard - Jackson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Jackson is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Bauer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackson is aware though and is defending well.

Jackson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Jackson pulls Bauer in to control the position.
Jackson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Jackson has his feet on Bauer's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Jackson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bauer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jackson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Dana Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Bauer bucks up and tries to throw Jackson off but instead Jackson has got his back!
Jackson really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Bauer.

Jackson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bauer manages to get himself to full guard.

Bauer tries to score a body lock takedown but Jackson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Bauer wants to get back to striking at distance but Jackson won't allow it.
Bauer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Bauer fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jackson is working Bauer over against the cage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bauer manages to break the clinch.

Jackson takes the fight into the clinch.
Jackson scores with a nice hook to the head.

Jackson is trying to trip Bauer. He has hold of a leg but Bauer is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jackson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Jackson is looking to work some ground and pound but Bauer has wrist control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson postures up in Bauer's guard and throws a big left but Bauer blocks it.
Jackson stays in close to Bauer's body and controls the position.
Jackson pushes down on Bauer's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Jackson moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Bauer.

Jackson decides to stand back up. Jackson steps back and let's Bauer get back to his feet.

Jackson rushes Bauer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jackson breaks the clinch.
Jackson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bauer if he has to take too many more of those.
Whack! Jackson lands a heavy head kick that drops Bauer. The ref tackles Jackson to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Bauer was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Dana Jackson!
