The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cop stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cop wants it to stay on the feet.
Cop tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nixon is defended easily by Cop.
Cop attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Cop is looking to score with low kicks.
Nixon seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Nixon fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicky Nixon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cop feints with a jab and clips Nixon right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Nixon is sent crashing into the canvas and Cop leaps in for the kill! Nixon tries to get to his feet but Cop is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Nixon is in need of a savior and steps in!
