Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flores is looking to clinch.
Ricky C falls off balance throwing a combination
and Flores counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Ricky C moves into the clinch successfully.
Flores has Ricky C pressed against the cage, preventing Ricky C from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Flores keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ricky C 's efforts to push away.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ricky C has eaten all the pies!

Ricky C pulls guard effortlessly.

Ricky C has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Flores is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Ricky C tries to land knees in the clinch but Flores avoids the damage to the body.

Ricky C is trying to trip Flores. He has hold of a leg but Flores is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ricky C persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Ricky C gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Ricky C pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ricky C manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Flores on his heels. He'll look to pass Flores's guard now, I'm sure.

Flores has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ricky C can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Flores wants to sweep but no luck.

Let's hope that Ricky C has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ricky C works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Flores is looking to escape.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Flores tries to get to full guard but Ricky C has control of the leg.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Ricky C gets a double leg takedown into Flores's guard.
Ricky C stays in close to Flores's body and controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ricky C is trying to work for a kimura but Flores is defending well.

Flores flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Flores keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ricky C is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Flores really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ricky C avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ricky C wants to counter with a clinch but Flores pushes him away.

Ricky C shoots in and gets a takedown into Flores's guard.
Flores is wriggling around but Ricky C manages to pass to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ricky C is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Flores defends it well.

Ricky C stands up from half guard.
Ricky C plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Flores to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Flores just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
